Responsibilities

This position is responsible for all electrical work performed on De Palm Island and assists the Maintenance Supervisor De Palm Island to provide an overall safe consistent and efficient service in all areas of De Palm Island’s operations; caterer / water sport service / ferry service / customer service / Seatrek / SNUBA and entertainment of the overall operation. This position also assists the Maintenance Supervisor with projects on De Palm Island.

Key qualifications

• Minimum MTS/EPI or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience of maintenance in all hotel areas
• Experience in electrical wiring and troubleshooting a must
• Experience in low voltage and high voltage
• English, Spanish, Papiamento, Dutch is a plus
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment repairs
• Basic knowledge of Mechanical equipment a plus
• Strong communication and people skills
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
