As a key contributor to the success of our Human Resources department, you will assist with day-to-day administration, team member benefits, and the organization of orientation meetings and training. Key qualifications
- EPI – administration, tourism or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in HR preferably in tourism
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Highly organized and accurate with eye for detail – excellent time management skills
- Fluent in English and Papiamento (both written as verbal)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Friendly and patient
- Able to work independently as well as in a Team setting
- Good communication skills
- Excellent computer skills and open for new technology
- Desire to learn
Some typical duties will include but are not limited to
- Answering phone and assist employees with questions
- Maintain and update employee records
- Prepare hiring files
- Prepare employee letters
- Ensure venue and refreshments for in-house training and orientation meetings
- Send all relevant information to hew hires: team member handbook, policies and procedures, other documents
- Schedule appointments with applicants when necessary
- Administer appointments of team members with HR
- Send recommendation letters to team members
- Collect all relevant documentation for PFTS
- Scan all relevant documents
- Administration of the Werknemersverklaringen and Reparatie Toeslagen
- Making name tags and ID badges and provide these to the team members including access cards when necessary
- Assist the Events Committee with administrative tasks
- Administer Medical Insurance documents: claims, guarantee letters etc.
