In February of 2011, De Palm Tours acquired Atlantis Submarines Aruba to further diversify its underwater tour product line. Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and report incidents, accidents, or hazards.
• Maintain and update technical skills through required training.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment regularly.
• Complete maintenance paperwork and reports accurately.
• Ensure professional, high-quality work and maintain a tidy workshop.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on submersibles, vessels, and equipment.
• Assist with pre/post-dive inspections and function checks.
• Address failures and report anomalies to the maintenance supervisor.
• Support offshore operations as a deckhand when needed.
• Collaborate on writing troubleshooting procedures.
• Follow emergency procedures, company policies, and handbook guidelines.

Key qualifications

• Minimum MTS/ E.P.I. technical or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical, hydraulic, and diesel maintenance and repair.
• Welding skills is a plus.
• Work can be physically rigorous, sometimes requiring working in cramped, enclosed spaces.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to read mechanical schematics and structural drawings.
• Must be familiar with basic wiring and circuitry techniques.
• Swimming diplomas is a must.
• Speaking and writing English is a must.
• Willing to learn to dive.
• Good team player.
• Driver's license.
• Able to work night shift from 3:30 PM till 24:00 PM. 
• Diesel Mechanic is a plus.
