Are you passionate about the ocean and love creating unforgettable experiences for guests? De Palm Tours is looking for an enthusiastic and service-minded Mate to join our Palm Pleasure catamaran team!

Responsibilities:

• Assisting as First Mate on the Palm catamarans.
• Serving drinks and snacks with a smile.
• Guiding snorkeling tours and teaching basic snorkeling techniques.
• Providing fun, informative speeches and engaging guests.
• Entertains customers of all ages.
• Assists with the counting of the guests to make sure that all guests are always accounted for.
• Overseeing customer safety in and out of the water.
• Performing headcounts and supervising water activities.
• Delivering first aid/CPR when necessary.
• Conducting basic maintenance and assisting during dry dock repairs.
• Following all safety protocols, company policies, and service standards.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum E.P.B. or equivalent.
• Certification: Kleinvaarbewijs (required).
• Experience: 2+ years on various boats.
• Languages: English, Spanish, and Papiamento (Dutch is a plus).
• Skills: Excellent swimmer, service-driven, people-friendly, confident speaker, team. player, positive and customer focused.
• Green Card (is a plus).
