We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Cook 2 to join our kitchen team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for food preparation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and portion control guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including cooking stations, utensils, and equipment
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service
Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Comply with the team member handbook and company policies
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
Requirements
School diploma or equivalent (Culinary degree preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Papiamento; Dutch is an asset
Valid work permit and DVG (green card)
Own transportation
Required Skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
